Male, 18 to 34 years old

1. Physical examination every 2 years, including blood pressure check, height and weight (general screening)

2. Examination of testicles for lumps every 2 years, as part of the physical examination (screening for testicular cancer)

3. Tetanus‑diphtheria booster shot every 10 years

4. Dental exam and cleaning every year

 

Male, 35 to 39 years old

1. Physical examination every 2 years, including blood pressure check, height and weight (general screening)

2. Examination of testicles for lumps every 2 years, as part of the physical examination (screening for testicular cancer)

3. Tetanus‑diphtheria booster shot every 10 years

4. Dental exam and cleaning every year

5. Measurement of blood cholesterol levels every five years (screening for cardiovascular disease)

 

Male, 40 to 49 years old

1. Physical examination every year, including blood pressure check, height and weight (general screening)

2. Examination of testicles for lumps every year, as part of the physical examination (screening for testicular cancer)

3. Tetanus‑diphtheria booster shot every 10 years

4. Dental exam and cleaning every year

5. Measurement of blood cholesterol levels every year, or at your health care provider's discretion (screening for cardiovascular disease)

6. Eye exam, including glaucoma screening, every 2 years Digital rectal examination every year, as part of the physical examination (screening for colorectal cancer and prostate cancer)

7. Faecal occult blood testing every year, as part of the physical examination (screening for colorectal cancer)

 7. Baseline mammogram performed once (baseline for later screening for breast cancer)
