I eat a good breakfast everyday:

I keep fats and oils to an absolute minimum in food preparation
I drink several extra glasses of water and/or club soda every day
I do not eat pastry, fried foods or other oily products
If I do have a snack, I eat crunchy vegetables or fruit
I keep acceptable snacks (fruit, carrot sticks, cauliflower, etc.) ready to eat
I only go to the grocery when I have eaten and I am not hungry
I eat diet food when I eat out, or carry my own food
I avoid alcohol, drugs, salt, fried foods, and sugar that will open my appetite

I use a smaller plate so that my food looks and feels like more
I cut my food into small pieces before I start to eat
I eat slowly, take small bites and chew very thoroughly
I put my fork down on the plate between bites in order to slow down
I do not watch TV or distract myself from my food while I am eating
I do not take any second helpings    
           
Control:            
I reward myself with clothes, entertainment, etc.; never with food
If I should binge, I go back on my diet at the very next meal
I keep myself busy, especially at those times when I might snack
I keep notes and records of problems to avoid in the future
